The Principal of Focus at Work, Kerryn Newton, has a depth of unique experience in performing advisory and project leadership roles for the Queensland Parliament. In these roles, she has worked extensively with elected representatives and senior public officers.

Kerryn has managed over 20 parliamentary inquiries on various complex legal and social policy issues and, through her role as an Assistant Clerk of the Parliament, advised the Speaker and others on issues relating to parliamentary and constitutional matters.

Kerryn has also acted in executive management positions in the Parliamentary Service, and has project managed significant events including the Central Queensland Sitting of Parliament in 2005.

Using this experience and knowledge, Focus at Work provides a full suite of services relevant to the parliamentary context including:
