Dr Clark has 15 years experience as an elected member of the Queensland Parliament over which time she also held various parliamentary roles including: Deputy Speaker; Parliamentary Secretary; Parliamentary Committee Chair; member of the Executive Committee of the Queensland branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association; and Chair of Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians.
Since September 2006, in her capacity as a Director of PacificPlus Consulting, Dr Clark has worked on a range of training and research projects in the Asia-Pacific region focused on the role of political parties, government and parliament in increasing gender equality in political governance and campaigning for women candidates, political leaders and parliamentarians.
Dr Clark’s experience as a parliamentarian and member of a political party complements Kerryn’s expertise in constitutional law, administrative law, electoral law, parliamentary systems, structures, law and practice, and her vast experience as a senior Parliamentary advisor in these areas.
